According to 2018 The State of Women-Owned Businesses, commissioned by American Express there were 1,821 net new women-owned business added per day between 2017 and 2018.

The Women Veteran Entrepreneurs initiative primary goals are: 1) to help more female Veterans be the new net women-owned businesses added every day;  2) to help other enterprising Women Veterans enhance their job skills and career possibilities.


Standing Tall & Together in the Service of the Women Warriors who served in the United States Armed Forces, United Relief Foundation and the National Women Veterans United have joined forces to generate opportunities and provide the tools to help Women Veteran Entrepreneurs start, build and grow a business and other enterprising Women Veterans with jobs skills and career training and mentoring.

The Women Veteran Entrepreneurs initiative is part of United Relief Foundation’s Women Warriors campaign dedicated to the brave women who fall through the cracks of the support systems that are in place for our Veterans.
